The Game Awards 2024 งานประกาศผลรางวัลเกมระดับโลก เรียกได้ว่าเป็นออสการ์ในวงการเกม ในปีนี้พิเศษฉลองครบรอบ 10 ปีในการจัดงานนี้ ภายในงานนอกจากลุ้นว่าใครจะได้รางวัลในแต่ละประเภทแล้ว ยังมีข่าวสารตัวอย่างเกม และการเปิดตัวเกมใหม่ที่น่าตื่นเต้นมากมายในงานด้วย นอกจากการเปิดเผยเกมใหม่ๆ แล้ว รายการนี้ยังย้อนกลับไปเพื่อยกย่องเกมและนักพัฒนาเกมยอดเยี่ยมแห่งปี
สำหรับปี 2024 มี 6 เกมที่ได้รับการเสนอชื่อเข้าชิงรางวัลเกมแห่งปี ได้แก่ Astro Bot, Balatro, Black Myth: Wukong, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, Metaphor: ReFantazio และ Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree โดยในจำนวนนี้ Astro Bot และ FFVII Rebirth ได้รับการเสนอชื่อเข้าชิงมากที่สุดถึง 7 รางวัล ตามมาด้วย Metaphor: ReFantazio ที่ได้รับการเสนอชื่อ 6 รางวัล
